Technology

A paternoster for cars, perfected over 24 years.

The principle is a century old. The engineering — twelve international patents, a five-layer safety stack and a kit that installs in days — is DYPC's.

How it works

Drive on. Step out. Tap. Ride up.

  1. 01
    Drive onto the ground pallet

Photo sensors confirm the car is inside the 5,200 × 2,100 mm envelope and under 2,150 kg before anything moves.

  2. 02
    Key, RFID or phone

One tap assigns the car to a free pallet. The system remembers which pallet is yours.

  3. 03
    The carousel rotates

A top-mounted drive turns a continuous chain; pallets glide up one side and down the other on a double guide rail, always level. 58 dB.

  4. 04
    Retrieval in under two minutes

The controller takes the shortest direction to bring your pallet to the ground. Drive off forward — no reversing.

Safety stack

Five layers between a fault and a scratch.

  1. 01
    Photo sensors

Envelope and presence check on the ground pallet; the unit will not move with anything in the opening.

  2. 02
    Double guide rail

Pallets run on two rails so they stay level and cannot swing, even at the top and bottom turns.

  3. 03
    Overrun stopper

Mechanical stop if the pallet travels past its position — independent of the controller.

  4. 04
    Emergency stop

E-stop at the operating panel and in the control cabinet; halts within one pallet pitch.

  5. 05
    Over-current protection

Drive cuts out on abnormal load — a stuck pallet or an obstruction — before anything bends.

IoT · phone operation

Call, monitor, service — remotely.

Residents call their car from the app; operators see utilisation and faults; the dealer runs diagnostics without a site visit.

Patented · EV charging on pallet

Charge while parked — on any pallet.

A rotating contact feeds a charger on each pallet, so an EV charges wherever it sits in the carousel. [CHARGER kW] per pallet.
